The City of Richmond has an Affordable Housing Strategy which requires that 10% of the total residential area for any new development is dedicated for below-market rental housing units. Intracorp approached Catalyst to purchase, own, and operate affordable housing units to meet this requirement in a master planned, mixed-use condominium development. Thirty-one non-market rental units are housed within a six-storey building steps away from amenities around the Fraser River, including the Richmond Oval, with convenient transit nearby.
