The First Church of the Nazarene, Vancouver is an intergenerational, intercultural Christian church located in the Cedar Cottage neighbourhood of Vancouver. The congregation is looking to renew the building and provide much-need affordable housing in the neighbourhood. To this end, they seek to construct a new mixed-use, six-storey building with affordable rental housing. Much of this current property is used as a surface parking lot. Catalyst is a non-profit developer that specializes in partnerships with municipalities, non-profits, charities, and other institutional and private owners that are mission-aligned to create affordable, inspiring, and vibrant communities.
