Phase 1 of the HUB project includes an 89-unit below-market rental housing project and 18,000-square foot seniors’ respite centre offering 18 overnight beds and 25 adult daycare spaces. North Shore Neighbourhood House has served the since 1939 and has outgrown its aging facility built in 1967. Its redevelopment is guided by a vision for creating a vibrant and integrated Hub at the heart of Lower Lonsdale that will also address affordable housing needs in the community. Catalyst is a non-profit developer that specializes in partnerships with municipalities, non-profits, charities, and other institutional and private owners that are mission-aligned.
